Akademisk Radioklubb (ARK) is usually known by the callsign LA1K, but between 17 May and 7 June 2005, and between 1 January and 31 December 2014, we also used LI1K.

QSL cards to LI1K should be sent via LA1K, either directly or via buro. If sending directly, please read our QSL page. We do not accept electronic QSL (eQSL), but we upload our log to LoTW.

2005

In 2005, Norway celebrated the peaceful dissolution of the union with Sweden in 1905. As part of these celebrations, Norwegian radio amateurs with LA and LB callsigns were allowed to use the LI and LJ prefixes, respectively, from 17 May to 7 June 2005.

Swedish radio amateurs were also allowed to use special prefixes (SE, SF, SJ and SG) for this occation.

We have sent QSL cards to all worked stations. If you haven’t received your cards, please contact us.

Awards

There were two special awards created for this occasion:

  • Norge 1905
  • Sverige 1905

Unfortunately, the information about these awards is no longer available online.

Please observe that QSOs on 7 June are valid for the Norwegian award, but not for the Swedish award (which ended on 6 June).

2014

In 2014 Norway celebrated the bicentenary of the Norwegian constitution. As part of these celebrations, Norwegian radio amateurs with LA and LB callsigns were allowed to use the LI and LJ prefixes, respectively, from 1 Janary 2014 to 31 December 2014.
