Today, the 30th of July, the beacon LA2VHF/4 will become operational again on the 4 meter band. We’ve made enough progress at the QTH to start assembling the antennas and start mounting the equipment inside the racks.

We’d love to know if the signal reaches you. The transmission is on the frequency of 70.063 MHz from Vassfjellet (700m asl) at locator JP53EG in Melhus, Norway.

The rest of the beacons are not operational yet, as they’ve had a few technical issues. We’ll be sure to let you know when they begin transmitting again as well. LA2VHF is also lacking an antenna currently, so be a little more patient with this one!
